| CSX 779 is the failing DPU on M-421 at Ridgefield Park, NJ 9/3/2023. This locomotive was having low water problems and kept shutting down delaying the train. The crew would have to cut away in North Bergen, go to South Karney, pick up a locomotive, go back to North Bergen with the two locomotives, drill out the CSX 779, make it part of a three engine consist with the 779 dead in tow and continue on to its destination. |
